Sylvie is ONE!

How can it be that our baby girl is one year old? Sylvie started out the morning by opening her birthday present from Mommy and Daddy. It was a big box full of dress-up clothes! Here is Sylvie modelling her sailor hat and her bumblebee wings:Next, Sylvie's Bestemor came over to give Sylvie birthday wishes and a few more presents, including the silver cup that Bestemor drank from when she was a baby. In the afternoon, Sylvie went with cousins Brian and Vanessa to the Bowers Kidseum, which is a very cool science museum. Brian and Vanessa are visiting from Florida. After the museum, everyone went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner, and Sylvie got to eat her very first piece of pizza. It was delicious. She also opened a few more presents, including this beautiful red wagon that Grandpa built for Sylvie himself. Sylvie and cousin Vanessa took it for a couple of spins around the block:
Then they went back to the house and Sylvie, Brian and Vanessa had a hilarious time playing with Sylvie's new puppets. It had been such a fantastic day that Sylvie decided to end it her very favorite way:
