Thursday was Amanda's real birthday so we celebrated with a trip to South Coast Plaza where the ladies took a ride on the carousel. All of the horses had been swapped for bunnies in honor of Easter!
We also had lunch at Rainforest Cafe, where Sylvie was happy to help Amanda out with eating her birthday ice cream.
On Saturday it was Amanda's big birthday bash. There was even a bouncer, which Daddy and Uncle Nils got a turn in before the kids arrived. Silly daddies!

There was a big cake with a giant Cookie Monster on top (check it out on Amanda's blog) and Sylvie almost could not bear the anticipation. Finally it was time to dig in...
Sylvie left with a goodie bag full of very cool Sesame Street stuff including a book, some Oscar socks, and...Sesame Street ponytail holders. Very funny Aunt Kim! Sylvie will save those for when she's 10 or so.
