One of the things Thomas and I love about Sylvie's age right now is that she seems to surprise us everyday by revealing something she thinks or knows that we didn't know she knew. For example, the other night, Thomas asked Sylvie how many crackers she wanted. Sylvie said one, then changed her mind to two, then changed her mind to three, and kept going like this until she settled on ten crackers. At which point Thomas and I were just staring at each other until one of us finally said, "She can count to ten?" and the other one of us said, "I guess so." We had no idea.
Here is Sylvie sitting on the potty (where she spends 90% of her time these days it seems), counting to ten.
