No. 1: The Long Beach Firefighters Museum, which was suggested by our friend Piyuthai, Panalee and Veejida's mom. Sylvie and I met up with friends Koa, Panalee and Veejida to check it out. Very cool. We got to see the antique fire trucks and even sit in one and pretend to drive. We also met the friendliest group of retired firefighters who like to hang out, drink coffee and eat donuts.
No. 2: A picnic in the park with friends. What a spread. Hard boiled eggs, cheese, peaches, plums, cherries, and oatmeal raisin cookies. But maybe we shouldn't let the 2 year-olds push the trike?
No. 3: A reptile show at the El Dorado Library. Panalee volunteered to let a blue-tongued dragon give her a kiss.
Koa volunteered to hold the tail of a very large snake.
There were lots of cool animals to touch. [Do you notice the wild curls Sylvie is FINALLY getting??? They are just plain adorable. It is so thrilling.]
Sylvie was desperately hoping for a lion, to no avail. Every time the "Lizard Wizard" would start to introduce a new animal, "it has no legs, it's cold blooded," Sylvie would say "lion!" And darn it, it never was. The closest we came was a baby alligator. Otherwise, though, a very fun day.

OMG, curls, you must be thrilled to no end! Beware, you will need to purchase a "no more tangles" chemical filled liquid soon... let me know if you find an affordable alternative.. I have to use that stuff every time I wash Mattie's hair!
