Sea World

Yesterday, Sylvie and I spent the day at Sea World with my dear college friend Nina, her husband Brian and their 3 year-old daughter Maddie. Thomas was so disappointed to be stuck in a math program training while Sylvie and I had such a fantastic time with our wonderful friends. We have promised poor, sad Daddy that we will take him to Sea World soon.

We started the day in the Sesame Street Bay of Play, which was a total thrill for my little Sesame fan. A few of the Sesame characters came out on the bridge and danced and Sylvie was pretty much beside herself. Bert and Cookie Monster waved to her and Elmo blew her a kiss. There were 3 rides and Sylvie was so brave and rode them all. This spinning Abby ride was her favorite.
A couple of beluga whales, waiting for their lunch. They are such beautiful animals. Sylvie's favorite animal of the day was the walrus. She also loved watching the "sharks jump." I have tried telling her 1,000 times that those were dolphins, but no luck so far changing her opinion.

On a hot day at Sea World, a frozen lemonade is a must.
We ended our day back at the Bay of Play, running through the water and taking one last turn on the spinning Abby ride.
*To the person that stole my cheapy umbrella stroller while we were in the 2 pm dolphin show (because I'm sure you're a loyal blog reader): Seriously? My kid weighs 30lbs! And she's tired at 2 pm! For the love. My arms still ache.
