The Fence

This past weekend, Thomas got started on installing our picket fence, since we are on a corner lot so quite a bit of the land is on the side and front of the house. As with every house project we take on (and by "we," of course, I mean Thomas), this one seems to be waaaay more labor intensive and time-consuming then one might have expected. Fortunately we have friends and family who always rise to the occasion when we (once again) get in a little over our heads.

Saturday, Uncle Nils came over to help drill the giant holes. Definitely a 2 man job!
Sunday we had Aaron's dad Jeff, Uncle Rich and Papa over to help. Sylvie and Aaron had a lot of fun driving Papa's van. As you can see, Aaron likes to sit back and let his lady-chauffeur, Sylvie No-Pants, take the lead. When Sylvie drives, she is always going to one of the following 3 destinations: Trader Joe's, dog beach or Yogurtland. So I think Aaron will at least be pleased with the destination. There was also milk-drinking and bed-jumping.
Thank you, as always, to everyone that lent a hand!

Aaron had such fun playing with Sylvie! He keeps saying 'Sylvie house.'
