Tanaka Farms Birthday

Today is my birthday and Thomas made all my birthday wishes come true by taking the day off and spending all day having fun playing with me and Sylvie. In the morning we worked on our new winter garden. Carrots, celery, kale, broccoli, cauliflower, napa cabbage, bibb lettuce, snap peas, strawberries and herbs are in! Thomas and Sylvie worked hard raking compost into the soil so that our plants would be so happy in their new home.Then we were off to lunch and for a trip to the Tanaka Farms pumpkin patch. Sylvie could not get enough of the tractor ride. This kid could have ridden the tractor all day.

Sylvie picked carrots, radishes and green beans to take home. The carrots at Tanaka are so good right out of the ground! Here she appears to be eating a piece of hay.
