September

I am very busy trying to wrap my head around how it's already October next week. Where did September go? Well, at least while it was flying by we got in some very fun and exciting stuff. Here's the recap:

Visiting the La Habra Children's Museum on a Target Free Saturday (what a cool program that is!)I was reminded to make sun tea in the garden by the book Roots, Shoots, Buckets and Boots: Gardening Together with Children. Such a charming book. I also love the idea of having a pizza party with toppings from the garden.
1 bag of Dollar Tree rocks + 1 Sharpee = Alphabet Rocks!

Ed Emberley's Fingerprint Drawing Book is lots of fun, especially when Daddy is involved.

Lovely days at the Bay with friends. Will and Nate here...
And Blythe holding Nora at our Labor Day potluck...
Artwork, with passion!
Lots of snuggles.
An Aaron Nigel Smith concert, complete with autographed CD.
Picking out plants at the nursery.
Making and freezing pesto from the garden. We have loads of basil and parsley so we made traditional pesto, basil/parsley/walnut pesto, and pumpkin seed/parsley pesto.
And definitely the best part of all, welcoming two new babies to our precious circle of friends! Sylvie holding Cameron Luke...
And mixing up a delicious pot of acorn soup with Cam's big sister Mattie.
And Jayne Christina...
Popping popcorn with Jayne's big brother Aaron.
