For my birthday this year I got 2 tickets from my parents to Shrek the Musical. Sylvie was the obvious choice of date since I asked for the tickets because I wanted to do something special and big kid-only with her and she is a huge Shrek fan.
Before the show we had a lunch date.
And a little extra time to try on hats at a hat kiosk.
Then we headed to the Segerstrom Center for the big show. At intermission, we checked out the orchestra and tried out the front row.
The show was fantastic and it was such a special day for me and Sylvie.
