At the Aquarium

Our friends Sarah and Jeff had the fantastic idea to take a week off from work and just do fun stuff together. Today Sylvie and I tagged along with them on their trip to the Long Beach Aquarium. Sylvie seemed to really enjoy the movement and bright colors of the fish. It was so mesmerizing that it made her drowsy, so then she enjoyed a nap. Here we are in the Shark Lagoon.

On the Road

Our first family camping trip was a great success! We camped for two nights just outside of Santa Cruz. Sylvie loves relaxing in the great outdoors, so she is a natural camper. Thomas and I are not real hardcore campers, so our first night we set up camp and then went out for sushi. On our second night, we visited my friend Nina, her husband Brian, and their adorable daughter Maddie, who live just outside of San Francisco. While we were there, Sylvie had a bath and Nina and Brian were quite impressed by her chubbiness. Nina couldn't resist and had to get in just one buns pinch. Sylvie was happy to oblige for such a good friend of her mommy.
