Norway: Part One
Hello from Norway! We flew Los Angeles to London, London to Copenhagen, Copenhagen to Trondheim and then took a taxi one hour to Sylvie's great-grandmother's house. Sylvie was a champion flier and had a great time reading her books, playing with her Etch-a-Sketch and eating snacks. We arrived around mindnight. Here in Norway in the summer it is light nearly all the time, so when we arrived, Thomas' grandma and her neighbor Arnfinn were sitting in the backyard drinking some red wine and waiting for us. It was a very nice sight after our long journey. Sylvie got right to work picking red currants in her great-grandmother's backyard. She thinks they are kind of sour, but pretty good with vanilla sauce. Soon we will be going up to the mountains, where Sylvie can pick wild blueberries.
