Norway: Part Two
We are back in Trondheim after 2 days at the family cabin in the mountains, about an hour's drive from Sylvie's great-grandmother (Oldemor)'s house. We picked lots of wild blueberries and Sylvie ate so many her lips and teeth turned blue. Sylvie also thinks wild cloudberries are delicious. We took a rowboat out on the lake and Thomas fished. We saw moose poop but no moose. Today we are going to climb to the top of Trondheim's cathedral. Thomas and his brother were both baptized there. Thomas' mom would have been baptized there but at the time she was born it was under Nazi occupation. We are also going to make an appointment to have a photo taken of Sylvie with her Daddy, grandmother and great-grandmother. The weather had been hot when we got here but it is cooling down now and is more typically Norwegian.
