A Couple of Notes

Note No. 1: Last Saturday we celebrated Mattie's 2nd birthday but we were too busy having fun to take any pictures, so check them out over on Mattie's blog. Happy Birthday Miss Mattie Birdbones! We are amazed and thankful that you've been in our lives for 2 whole years.

Note No. 2: It was 97 degrees today. Here, by the coast. At 5 pm. In April. OK, I think I've made my point and can stop speaking in fragments. It was freakishly hot. Wanna see what Sylvie looks like when it's 97 degrees?
Sylvie and I decided the only reasonable thing to do was to pick up a water table at Target for some heat relief and fun. [It's something like this, but not exactly.] And it is really fun. Of course, there is boring old fun with Mommy...

And then there is the kind of fun that happens when Daddy comes home. Daddies just seem to have a way of kicking the fun up a notch, don't they?
