Yesterday was Daddy's birthday. In the morning, [
Pre-hair brushing. I know, you never would have guessed. Good Morning, Don King!], Sylvie made Daddy this awesome fish card. She used glue and scrunched up tissue paper and on the inside it says "Fishing you a happy birthday Daddy!" It was a hit.
At night we went out to dinner with the whole family:
Beste, Bob, Uncle Nils, Aunt Kim, Amanda, Uncle Rich, Grandma and Papa. Love of sushi is apparently genetic since Thomas and I both love it and so does Sylvie. This kid packs it away at sushi.
Unagi (eel) and cucumber roll is always a favorite. And last night she tried and loved a dynamite roll which was made with baked scallops. And of course she ordered her favorite beverage, "hot tea!" At the end of dinner there was quite a spectacle made of singing happy birthday. Sylvie found this somewhat horrifying, as did Daddy.
But she really liked eating this orange mouse.

Beste's house for cake. Check out Amanda's festive attire! I love a girl that dresses for a theme.
