Mud Run

Sylvie Kate is 2 today! But she graciously agreed to put off her celebration until tomorrow so Daddy and his friends could run in the Camp Pendleton Mud Run today. It was well worth it, because it was a really fun day with lots of good friends.

We had to leave early and grab food on the road, so Sylvie's birthday breakfast was a croissant the size of her head.

Of course, we could not let the day end without a little celebration at home. You know what one of the things I love about a 2 year-old is? You can put an old Hanukkah candle into a piece of Daddy's leftover birthday cake and get a smile like this!
