Thanks to the many friends that helped on moving day, we are all moved in to the new house!
Sylvie is loving her new room.
It has been so much fun to have friends and family over to see the house, and we are so thankful to everybody for being so excited for us. We even had our first over night guest, Hank, who stayed with us for 1 week.
Over the last several weeks there have been so many exciting changes in Sylvie. The potty thing just "clicked" and she is now, with the exception of nighttime, a full-time undie wearer. Her confidence and independence have grown so much and she is ready to start a preschool program this Monday! Sylvie and I went to visit Miss Rachel's school last week and I was so amazed at how my once timid girl who used to hide behind my legs ran off to play with the kids, sat down at the table for snack time and asked to stay more when it was time to go. When I asked her if she wanted to come back to Miss Rachel's school and Mommy would leave, the answer was a definite yes. And every time I mention starting school on Monday, Sylvie's response is, "right now please!" So she will start with Monday mornings and then go to Monday and Wednesday mornings. There are definitely times I wish I could keep Sylvie small, but it is so wonderful to see her growing into a confident little girl.
