Christmas Eve '09

We celebrated another warm and cozy Christmas Eve at Thomas' parent's house on Thursday night. It's always good to kick off Christmas Eve with a nice plate of hors d'oeuvres.Carols at the piano (or at least, "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star")...
There were just a few presents for the girls, of course.
Amanda is ready to get to work in her new play kitchen!
A Christmas Eve walk to look at all the beautiful lights. Bonus points to any house that has a mechanical, light-up reindeer - Sylvie's favorite decoration of the season.

Ending the night in some cozy winter PJs...
And home to put an exhausted kid to bed (have you ever tried brushing a sleeping child's teeth? Totally impossible.) and get to work on the Christmas morning surprise!
