Saturday we braved the rain to go choose our Christmas tree. Sylvie is an old soul and can be kind of a worrier. She took one look at the Christmas trees at the lot and said, "Will this fit in our trunk?" Nope, it didn't, but she thought it was very funny to drive home with a tree on our roof!
After getting the tree home and upright, we took the rest of the afternoon off to rest up for Grandma and Papa's Hanukkah party. Sunday morning we woke up ready to decorate! In honor of tree decorating day, I surprised Sylvie with a copy of
Olivia Helps with Christmas. This completes Sylvie's Olivia book collection and she was thrilled. We read Olivia Helps with Christmas 4 times yesterday. And also had some morning snuggles by our new tree.
The decorating is complete!
We even have some train tracks going around the tree.
