Birthday Countdown & LEGOLAND!

Sylvie's Grandma and Papa wanted to take her to Legoland during the week before her birthday, which inspired me to make a 5-days of fun stuff countdown to Sylvie's birthday. The countdown started on Wednesday, with Sylvie's very first trip the the movie theater. She and her Beste saw the movie Oceans. Sylvie loved the movie and also, of course, the popcorn. Thanks, Beste!

Yesterday was the trip to Legoland. Nora and I couldn't stand the thought of missing out on so much fun, so we went along too. Legoland is perfect for the Sylvie-aged child. So much fun stuff. We got there when it opened at 10 and stayed until it closed at 5. We went virtually non-stop for 7 hours and could easily have stayed longer. [We did take a 20 minute break for lunch. Sylvie was not at all pleased.] Here's a little of what we were up to all day...

Thanks Grandma and Papa for such a fun day! Tonight's surprise is Game Night with a brand new game. Chances are good there will be more popcorn.
