Penny Laid an Egg

 

Yes, Penny finally laid her first egg a couple of weeks ago. Now most days we have 2 fresh eggs waiting for us. Penny's big, brown speckled egg and Max's smaller white egg. They each take a day off from egg laying every 3-4 days.

And Sylvie is still madly in love with Penny and Max. Last weekend at 6 am she woke up, looked into Thomas' eyes and said, "Daddy, I really love those chickens."

The other day I asked Sylvie to take a picture of me and Penny. When she handed the camera back to me she said, "Don't worry, I got Max in it too."
