One More

Since we made a sign to commemorate Nora's big day (see below), I asked Sylvie what she has learned recently that she wants people to know. 

Here's what she chose.

Sylvie can write all of her letters now, although some still drive her a little crazy (I'm talking to you K). I love this post on how play encourages interest in writing. Reading it felt like reading about Sylvie and how she came to write. She wanted to write her name on her artwork, she wanted to address an envelope, she wanted to leave a note in the fairy garden asking the fairies if they would please consider leaving behind some M&Ms instead of always shiny rocks. She wanted to write down her favorite rides at Disneyland so she didn't forget one.

Sylvie knows how to write. And she chose it as her biggest accomplishment, right up there with undies.
