A Hanukkah Gift for our Bird Friends

With Hanukkah just 2 days away, Sylvie and I decided to make a present for our bird friends today. Here is how to make a "bird fooder" of your own, in 4 easy steps.

STEP 1: Apply peanut butter to your pine cone. Be sure to also apply several spoonfuls of peanut butter to your mouth.

STEP 2: Sprinkle bird seed onto the peanut butter. Sunflower seeds and chopped dried fruit are a nice gift for bird friends as well.
STEP 3: Hang your bird fooder in a tree!
STEP 4: Watch from the window and encourage your bird friends by yelling, "Come on, Birdies, your snack's ready!"

So far, not one nibble! Do these birds not know a good bird fooder when they see one???
