Heritage Park Cerritos

I love discovering a park that has something a little different and exciting. A couple of weeks ago we went to our friend Devyn's first birthday at Heritage Park in Cerritos. Heritage Park has a "play island" that was closed the day of Devyn's party because there had been a rain storm the night before. The girls had lots of fun on the swings, but I knew we needed to come back to check out the island. So this morning we headed back to Heritage Park. This is a great park for exploring.

 This is the view from the island and you can see the nice big playground.

 The island has little buildings with climbing structures and slides both inside and outside.

 And even a little boat to play on!

 And of course, we did more swinging.
