At Sylvie's school they have been studying dinosaurs and they capped off the dino theme with a Dino Dig at the beach. We invited our friends Ellis and Jude and parents over one night for ribs so that we would have bones to contribute to the dig. Then last Wednesday all the bones collected were hidden on the beach and the children took a walking field trip to excavate them. Sylvie decided it was one of the best days of school ever.
Nora joined in the Dino Dig too, and we all know how Norsie feels about getting to do big kid stuff. She knows a few animal sounds now and her favorite is dinosaurs say "RAWR" so she also thought the Dino Dig was awesome.
