Our friends Sigrin, Aaron and Dylan told us about the exciting Dominguez Gap Wetland Project and invited us to check it out with them. It was especially interesting for us because we recently landscaped our front yard with native plants and Dominguez Gap gave us the opportunity to see many of the same plants after about 4 years of growth. There was also lots of wildlife for the kids to spot and they had a lot of fun with the binoculars Sigrin and Aaron brought. And the California poppies are in bloom and so beautiful! We will need to plant some of those in our yard next spring.
